The first round of the playoffs has been a haven for duds so far (minus the Golden State/Denver game), but last night finally treated us to classic playoff ball. Chris Paul and Tony Allen have spent the last two years in a ferocious great point guard vs. great defender battle. Well, no matter how great Allen is on defense, nobody is stopping Chris Paul in the clutch.
CP3 put up the last eight points of the game and drained a buzzer beater to put Los Angeles up 2-0. Still, this has the potential to be a great series. Don’t count Memphis out…yet.
