At the end of the 2012 season, the sports blogosphere cottoned on to the football-related works of Pixar animator Austin Madison, who had been making weekly preview sketches for a game he felt like highlighting from each week of the NFL season. Occasionally he would have creative interpretations on a team’s mascot, but no matter what, the sketches were spectacular.
He’s been doing the same so far this season – for the exception of weeks 8, 9 and 14 when he was either busy or on vacation. The results have been no less wonderful. Be sure to follow along on his Tumblr for his sketches the rest of the year. He’s what he’s had so far in 2013.
