A Reddit user posed the following question to teens of Reddit: “What’s cool nowadays?” And the teens of Reddit certainly did not disappoint. The surprising thing, though, is that despite the fact that we like to consider teenagers to be The Worst and get off my lawn — if you take away modern technology, teens today really aren’t that much different than they were when most of us were growing up. So basically, spoiler alert! Kids still like having sex, getting wasted, converse sneakers and identifying with decades that they don’t live in. Time really is a flat circle. First up, Australia:So basically Australian teens want to be Gwen Stefani in 1996? Also kids are now oddly obsessed with eyebrows. I don’t know what that’s about.

Kids are also really into grunge today. The 70’s to us = the 90’s to them. Kind of a terrifying thought.
