One of the best things about the internet is the fact that no matter what weird thing you just saw, there’s something even weirder right around the corner. That’s why you shouldn’t be surprised that there’s now a video of a tennis racket “gloriously” slicing through a heap of jello in slow-mo. You didn’t know you needed this in your life, but now that it exists, you may want to watch it over and over.
According to Sploid, trying this at home won’t be too successful unless you have a pretty good camera (so think about that before you cover your walls in splatters of jello) because the impact is just too quick for the naked eye, but the good news is that The Slow Mo Guys have taken all the work out for you. So now you can watch Jello being punished—bad Jello!—while keeping your own home relatively clean and considering the life choices you’ve made that haven’t led to you whacking desserts with a tennis racket on the internet.
I know, I’m a little sad I didn’t think of this first, too. But it’s strangely beautiful, right? Why isn’t someone doing this with cake?
