In case you missed it, parts of the Midwest got slammed with a snowstorm on Sunday. As Detroit’s local ABC 7 news crew drove around to show Michiganians huddled up at home what the roads were looking like, they got passed by this SUV pulling a skier behind it. While getting pulled around by a car on skis sounds like a hell of a lot of fun, it’s probably also not the safest activity to be partaking in during a snowstorm.
So it’s only about a minute after the Mayor of Warren, speaking with the news crew on the phone, remarks that the driver would probably get a ticket if spotted by police, that the driver actually is spotted by a police truck and pulled over because Detroit police apparently have the best comic timing ever.
I hope they went easy on them anyway. There should be some unwritten rule that some laws should be able to be bent just a little bit in the name of having fun during a snowstorm.
