The Cavaliers Arrived Back In Cleveland To A Massive Airport Party

After winning the NBA Championship Sunday night in Oakland, the Cleveland Cavaliers headed to Las Vegas to party the night away in what we can only presume was a booze-fueled rager for the ages. ESPN reported that the team left the club just after 5 a.m., at which point they boarded a plane and headed back to Ohio.

Upon their arrival at the airport in Cleveland, the team was greeted by a hoard of fans ready to congratulate them for breaking the city’s long championship drought. The scene was pretty wild as players emerged from the plane, several of them making some bold fashion statements.

LeBron James emerged from the plane wearing an Ultimate Warrior T-shirt and a Kermit the Frog sipping tea hat, which is a tremendous Hall of Fame-worthy troll move.

Kevin Love had a wrestling belt draped over his shoulder, a fine compliment to the Austin 3:16 shirt he partied in following the game.

And J.R. Smith? Well, he decided no shirt at all was the way to go, which seems only right. In fact, I’d be surprised if he wore a shirt for the rest of the damn summer.

A whole summer full of well-documented J.R. Smith shenanigans ahead of us? Well, I guess you could call that a pipe dream.
