Brock Lesnar is apparently coming back to UFC. At the conclusion of UFC 226’s main event between Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier, Lesnar stepped into the Octagon and responded to a challenge from Cormier. Jeremy Botter of Bleacher Report reported Lesnar and Cormier will fight for the UFC Heavyweight Championship at Madison Square Garden at UFC 230 in November.

The longest reigning WWE champion in history, Lesnar signed a new contract with the company after his WrestleMania 34 victory over Roman Reigns. The champ hasn’t wrestled, however, since April 27 at the Greatest Royal Rumble. Rumors emerged on where he stood within the company in late May, which detailed how he could be off WWE television until August.

Lesnar is a former UFC heavyweight champion, putting together a 5-3-1 record, with his latest fight coming at UFC 200 against Mark Hunt. After originally taking home the win against Hunt, he was hit with a no contest and a year ban after testing positive for an illegal substance. Lesnar reportedly was hidden when he went back into the USADA testing pool earlier this year, per Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.

Before his return to the Octagon in 2016, Lesnar had last fought in 2011, suffering back-to-back losses to Cain Velasquez and Alistair Overeem.

Miocic is 18-3 over his UFC career, rattling off six consecutive victories and defending the heavyweight title more than anyone in UFC history before the loss. Cormier is 21-1, with his battle for the heavyweight crown coming in a weight jump from light heavyweight.
