It was a disappointing end for the U.S. in the semifinal round of the Pan Am Games in Toronto Friday as they fell 111-108 in overtime to Canada. The Canadians will meet Brazil in the gold medal game Saturday.
It was University of Kentucky commit Jamal Murray who helped send the Americans packing with 22 points, six assists, and four rebounds, including a game-tying three with 36 seconds left in regulation. Murray was held scoreless through the first three quarters, but then exploded for 14 points in the fourth. He also drained back-to-back threes in overtime with Canada trailing 106-104 that put the nail in the coffin for the U.S.

It was a game that also featured Minnesota Timberwolves big man and former number one draft pick Anthony Bennett, who scored 18 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Canadians.
