It’s been a while since we’ve highlighted a colorway for the signature line of Derrick Rose. But adidas today unveiled the D Rose 5 Boost “Brenda” colorway to commemorate Rose’s mom, whose favorite color was red.
Like previous “Brenda” incarnations for the D Rose 3 and the D Rose 4, the Brenda colorway is splashed with a uniform red, which mimes the Chicago Bulls colors for their point guard.
A red woven upper comes embellished with a print of the D Rose logo, and the stars are inspired by the Flag of Chicago. Grey and black speckle the Fit Cage with a translucent outsole adorned in Brenda’s favorite, red.
The D Rose 5 Boost “Brenda” edition drops February 5 for $140.
