Carmelo Anthony May Have Subtweeted Phil Jackson For Calling Him A Ball Hog

Legendary coach Phil Jackson is not exactly endearing himself to the stars of today. After causing a fervor when he used some coded language when speaking about LeBron James and his confidants, Phil pleaded ignorance and backed off his use of “posse.” It may have been too little too late, though, as Phil and the Knicks paid for his remarks on Wednesday night when LeBron was clearly motivated in handing the Knicks a 32-point loss.

This week, Phil criticized his own team’s superstar. Jackson called out Carmelo Anthony for his “tendency to hold the ball for three, four, five seconds.” Melo was clearly in no mood to discuss Phil’s comments after the loss to LeBron and the Cavs. Still, despite refusing to comment, and saying he didn’t even know what Phil said, it sure looks like Melo took the time to comment on the entire ordeal on Twitter Thursday afternoon.

Melo wasn’t done there though, because a few minutes later he posted this picture of Muhammad Ali with several arrows shot at him, with the caption “UN-Phased (MyLifeSummedUpInOnePhoto).”

It’s likely Carmelo will at some point deny that the tweet was about Phil, or anybody in particular, but come on, who else is this about.
