Los Angeles has yet to release a suspected timeline for Paul’s recovery. However, it seems worth remembering that Russell Westbrook fractured his second metacarpal at the beginning of last season and missed nearly a month of play. Though it seems unlikely, here’s hoping Paul is able to return to action much more quickly.
Previously: Let’s not jump to conclusions. Maybe Chris Paul’s right wrist injury is just a stinger and he’ll return to Game 4 action in the fourth quarter. Considering his reaction while heading back to the locker room, though, there’s definitely extra cause for concern.
The Los Angeles Clippers superstar appeared to hurt his wrist while trying to steal the ball from Gerald Henderson in transition. Watch how it bends at an awkward angle while making contact with Henderson’s midsection.
We’ll keep you updated on Paul’s status as this situation develops.
