There’s no doubt that March Madness is in full swing. No. 24 Davidson capped an incredible rally on Friday with a lay-up from guard Tyler Kalinoski as the buzzer sounded in the Wildcats’ 67-66 come-from-behind win over La Salle in Atlantic-10 Tournament action.
La Salle led by double-digits throughout most of the first half before Davidson went on a 7-0 run going into the break. In the second half, La Salle was held scoreless for the last five minutes of the game while Davidson went on a 10-0 run, allowing for Kalinoski’s last-second heroics.
Jack Gibbs led Davidson with 22 points. Steve Zack finished with 24 points and 15 rebounds for La Salle in the losing effort. Davidson advances to face the winner of the VCU-Richmond game.
