Backed by a 42-point clinic from LeBron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers might have won Thursday night’s battle against the Golden State Warriors with the 110-99 victory, but the ‘Dubs certainly provided their fair share of highlights during the match.
Draymond Green, in the midst of his best season in the majors, executed a perfect pick-and-roll with Stephen Curry midway through the third quarter that paid of immensely for the 24-year-old forward. After setting the screen on Kyrie Irving, the former Spartan rolled to the rim with a clear path in the lane. Green finished the beautiful set by taking flight and hammering down the one-handed facial on Timofey Mozgov.
Green filled out the stat sheet on Thursday in the losing effort, finishing with 16 points, eight rebounds, four dimes, and fives steals. Mozgov continues to find himself in the wrong place at the wrong time.
