4’5″ streetballer Jahmani Swanson: “@JohnWall seen me and was like, ‘I want no parts of you man'”https://t.co/dWVFKWm5BT

Jahmani Swanson says if he was five inches taller, he’d be the best player in the history of basketball. Now, that’s obviously a bold statement for anyone. Unless you are somebody like Steph Curry, you will probably find it difficult to get people to agree with you. However, Swanson is in a very different situation than Curry or even somebody like mighty mite Nate Robinson. If Swanson was five inches taller, he’d still be under five feet tall. But the award-winning streetballer is 4’5, and he thinks he could play in the NBA.
Swanson has been on the radar for a few years now. USA Today wrote about how he was excelling in the Venice Basketball League back in 2012. He will always draw attention from fans, of course, because in a sport dominated by unusually tall individuals, Swanson is a little person. This does not stop him from having a very high opinion of his basketball skills, however.
When you watch highlights of Swanson playing, he does have some dribbling acumen and passing skills. There is more to him being a streetball legend than just being really short. To hear Swanson tell it, though, NBA All-Stars such as John Wall have claimed they want “no part” of Swanson. Supreme confidence is not unusual in basketball players, even ones who aren’t in the NBA. Swanson is no different than most ballers in that regard. He just happens to be a foot or two shorter than most of them.
