In the annals of NBA history, few teams are as legendary for the wrong reasons as the early 2010s Washington Wizards, the superteam built around Nick Young, JaVale McGee, Jordan Crawford and Andray Blatche. JaVale and Swaggy P even had their own (incredible) YouTube series at one point.
Over the weekend, at Los Angeles’ Drew League, the duo reunited, playing on team #JugLife (which is named after McGee’s foundation, which promotes drinking a gallon of water a day). The reunion was just as great as you’d hope.
Here are some videos, via BallIsLife.com:
Perhaps most importantly of all, McGee was on the receiving end of a pretty sick poster dunk from fellow NBAer Dorell Wright:
Fortunately, McGee had a sense of humor about it afterwards:
Smh… He ain't have to do me like that https://t.co/H7XWM762lX

It’s a truly great day for basketball fans everywhere when these two luminaries play on the same team again. With McGee set to be in training camp with the Warriors and Young still on the Lakers (for now), they could be in the same division this coming season, which will mean four head-to-head battles that will become must-watch television. For now, we have these glorious Drew League clips to hold us over. Enjoy them, because we certainly will and there’s a good chance you won’t be seeing them on the court very much.
