Sure, the dunk is impressive. But we’ve seen that dunk, or at least a variant of it, from Karl-Anthony Towns a few times already in his rookie season. What’s more impressive, and bodes even better for both his and the Timberwolves’ future, is how he got there.
Just look at how fluid Towns is with the ball, taking it from the top of the arc and a quick one-two-three straight to the rim. Few bigs, rookie or seasoned veteran, have the handles and coordination to make that happen so effortlessly. This kid is going to be good, fast.
