LeBron James must have been pretty frustrated during and after Game 1 of the NBA Finals. After all, his team credibly shut down both Steph Curry AND Klay Thompson, only to watch the likes of Shaun Livingston roast them to another easy Warriors win. A contest with 20 combined points from the Splash Brothers might have been LeBron’s best chance to steal a game in the Bay Area, and heading into the fourth quarter, he looked like he knew it.
The funny thing is, at that point in the game, as you hear Mike Breen say, the Cavaliers were only down six. If LeBron knew what was to come in the fourth, he might have been even more depressed. Chin up, LeBron, there’s always Game 2.
