Well, this doesn’t look like any fun.
During the third quarter of Wednesday’s game between the Cavaliers and Lakers, LeBron James hit (we’re going to say accidentally) D’Angelo Russell straight in the jingle bells with a below-the-belt pass. It all happened so quickly, so it’s not clear if James’ arm was hit, or if the ball simply got away from him. Either way, Russell was on the wrong end of the pass and thoroughly unprepared. The slow-motion replays over and over are worthy of a grimace.
Pray for Russell, is what we’re saying. That’s as bad as it gets.
