Kanye West’s Saint Pablo tour is already surreal enough. Kanye performs from a magical floating stage hanging a few feet above the general admission main floor, close enough for overeager fans to actually attempt to climb up there and join him. Now imagine you’re a kid from Cleveland (TM LeBron) and you’re sitting there raging to the magnificent sounds of “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” and you turn to your left and LeBron James is right there doing the same exact thing.
Well, that’s what happened at Yeezy’s show in Cleveland on Saturday night and the Finals MVP was kind enough to broadcast the entire episode on his Instagram story feed. Bron was there with a bunch of his Cavs teammates and as you can imagine, the defending champions are VIPs in the Quicken Loans Arena, so they got their own special suite to enjoy the festivities and watched from there for a while.
But eventually, the power of Yeezus was too much to deny and James and the crew made their way to the floor to truly experience the Saint Pablo tour as it was meant to be experienced. So there was LeBron, Richard Jefferson and a bunch of other gigantic humans towering over all the Kanye fans in the pit belting out, “uh-uh, you can’t tell me nothing!” like everybody else in the arena.
Kanye paid homage to the Cavs earlier in the show as well when he stopped his performance of “Famous” to shout out the champs because real always recognizes real.
Kanye just dead interrupted "Famous" to mention the Cavs championship. #SaintPabloTour
