North Carolina Coach Roy Williams Collapsed During Tuesday Night’s Game

North Carolina Tar Heels coach Roy Williams collapsed during Tuesday night’s game against Boston College while arguing with an official. Williams collapsed in the second half of the game during a timeout when he lost his balance and tried to brace his fall. He had to be taken to the locker room, according to ESPN.com, but is “doing OK.”

Williams, 65, previously announced that he has vertigo and still deals with symptoms from time to time. The Tar Heels went on to beat the Eagles 68-65 with assistant coach Steve Robinson filling in for Williams. The win moves North Carolina to 20-4 on the season.
