The Toronto Raptors are an Eastern Conference best 20-6. They’re coming off the their most successful season since 2001, and have a young nucleus in place that has them primed to remain competitive for years coming. Time for a re-brand? We think so, too. Taking advantage of “We The North” hysteria, Toronto unveiled a new logo in a video released on Friday.

We’re normally against generic circular or triangular logos, but this one’s pretty slick. And let’s be honest, putting more emphasis on the “We The North” tag certainly isn’t a bad idea. We just hope the Raptor still shows up in Toronto’s secondary emblems.
