Someone in Blake Griffin’s inner circle – or outer circle; any circle, really – needs to bring this video of model Samantha Hoopes to his attention. At the very least, Hoopes, who has appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, wants to play some one-on-one… or, something like that.
For what it’s worth, Griffin has recently been seen with former Florida Gators volleyball player Kari Klinkenborg. Whether they’re together or not, or if Griffin is mutually interested in Hoopes, is probably not something anyone’s going to find out anytime soon. But, hey, it has to be a confidence boost that Hoopes singled him out.
Then again, we have to ask if there will be unintended consequences from this. Hoopes’ video brings to mind Katy Perry giving the ol’ verbal wink to Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Trevor Knight last October.
After Perry told Knight to call her, Oklahoma lost to TCU 37-33 and would go on to lose four of its next eight games. Knight is no longer the starting quarterback for Oklahoma, either. What we’re trying to say is the Clippers will miss the playoffs this year and Griffin’s career is about to take a turn for the worse. Probably.
Not that we want those things to happen, but we don’t control the power of curses, either. Sorry, Blake.
