Shaquille O’Neal Won’t Be Happy About Kevin Hart’s Ridiculous ‘SNL’ Impression

Shaq and Charles Barkley are known to get into spats on NBA on TNT, but it’s all in good fun. Same with this Saturday Night Live sketch in which the diminutive comic Kevin Hart does his best impression of Shaq in his on-air role as an NBA commentator. Now, Hart and Shaq are friends, but this impression might lead to Hart getting bunched into a ball then dunked if Shaq gets his hands on him. Just look at the size difference between the two men:

That’s why you need to be very good friends with the person that you portray as a lumbering giant with brain cells that equal his jersey number. Hart goes all-in on mocking Shaq’s weird asides and strange turns of phrase, only to get into it with Barkley who is simultaneously pleased that his state of Alabama didn’t elect alleged pedophile Roy Moore, but upset because he lost $100,000 betting that he would win.

So, their back and forth evolves into challenges and puffed chests Hart steps from behind the announcer’s booth and reveals that he isn’t going 50 percent with his Shaq impression, he’s got on stilts and he’s over seven feet tall, just like his buddy Shaquille O’Neal.
