It appears Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are mortal after all. According to Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group, Curry’s been dealing with a leg injury that might actually keep him out of a couple games on the Warriors’ upcoming road trip.
Curry is listed as questionable to play against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, and the Houston Rockets will take on the injury-plagued Warriors on Thursday.
“There’s a chance that he won’t play in one or both,” Walton said. “That’s probably going to be a game-time decision or at least determined on how he’s feeling tomorrow.
“He hasn’t said anything except for he wants to play. Even last night in the game when I saw him in the game limping, and I tried to take him out, he gave the wave-off and said that it was fine.”

While there’s hopefully no cause for alarm, the Warriors should take every precaution necessary to ensure Steph’s health. They’ve plowed through the league at a historic rate with Curry leading the way. They’re in no immediate danger of losing the top league’s top playoff seed and can survive a few games without the reigning MVP.
Curry may want to play, but it’s in everyone’s best interests if he takes a breather. It’s not as if the Warriors will be shorthanded without him – they still have Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and the rest of their insanely talented roster to account for the reigning MVP’s absence.
