The Spurs beat the Raptors rather easily at home last night, 117-107. Kawhi dropped the hammer on Jonas Valanciunas, and the Spurs continued to rumble along in perfect late-season form. But with a little over a minute remaining, and a 13-point cushion, Tim Duncan fell to the floor clutching his left elbow. It was hyperextended, and his girlfriend, Vanessa Macias, was pretty ticked off at the refs for failing to call a foul on the play.
I've said it a lot. If fouls aren't called, things get out of hand. It's not about BS calls&market shares. It's about PEOPLE getting hurt.

If you watch the sequence you can understand her Twitter complaint. Amir Johnson lowers his shoulder to stymie Tiago Splitter’s path to defend on an open corner three. Duncan was right next to Splitter with his hand on Amir. The moving screen by Amir inadvertently injures Duncan.
Duncan — who has been healthy most of the year, unlike Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard — is fine, according to Parker and Popovich:
“I think he’ll be OK, but what do I know?” Popovich told reporters after the game.
[…]
“They told us right away (Duncan’s injury) was not big, so maybe half a second (of anxiety),” Spurs guard Tony Parker said.
Still, Tim’s lady had every right to throw a shoe because Amir got away with a foul on that play.
I JUST came from the airport. If I throw a shoe in anger, I've got 2 more in the car. It will be fine.
