We’re of the minority that believes Kevin Durant shouldn’t be an All-Star this season. The reigning MVP has been arguably the league’s best player when he’s on the floor season – the problem is that he’s been offit for 27 of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 49 games. KD says he’ll make people like us a deal to prove his All-Star Game worth, though: Simply have the next-best candidate play him one-on-one for a roster spot.
Kevin Durant on his All-Star selection: "Whoever want my spot can play me one-on-one for it"

Seems fair enough.
And with apologies to Damian Lillard, Mike Conley, Zach Randolph, and a Dallas Maverick of your choosing, we’re pretty sure Durant would leave the bout with his All-Star nod still in hand.
