Marvel has really proved they have a good handle on promoting their movies effectively. They harnessed the build up from Iron Man and other films to really push The Avengers into crazy territory, allowing them to slowly burn and get creative for things like Guardians of the Galaxy. It seemed like a hard sell on paper (I was one of those people who called it a gamble), but the whole thing panned out well.
It seems they’re hoping the same with Ant-Man, using a bit of creativity to promote the film down under with these ant-sized billboards. I’m not saying that Ant-Man is on the same level as Guardians of the Galaxy at this point in its promotion, but they’re holding it in line.
Folks over at Reddit are calling this some of the best marketing they’ve seen for a film, but I dunno if I’d go that far. Check out some more over here and below:
