Well here’s something to keep you entertained during lunch!
Lil Wayne may have partying it up in Miami last night with the Dallas Mavericks, but he was Unplugged on MTV last night as well. The set list for the show included stellar performances of “6 Foot 7 Foot,” and “Drop the World,” in addition to a cover of Tupac’s “Hail Mary” at about the 18 minute mark. Weezy also performed “Nightmares of the Bottom” — a track from his upcoming release, “Tha Carter IV.”
“Now, I had the choice to do any song off the album, and I said I figured I have a pretty intelligent crowd, so I’d rather not do nothing too hype, nothing too crazy,” Lil Wayne told the audience. “I wanted to do something that y’all can listen to and say, that nigga actually said such and such. And I’m leave here and get that album where that nigga said such and such.”
Well then! The full performance is after the jump.
