History in Pictures tweeted this compilation of rock star yearbook photos this morning and it’s fascinating for all the reasons yearbook photos of celebrities are fascinating PLUS it’s succinct visual confirmation of what we already knew: any ugly dude can become a rock star.
Sure, some talent is needed (although several of the inclusions above beg to differ) but music stardom is pretty much the antithesis to acting stardom, which is oddly comforting. And if you suck at both you can always get into politics.
