Josh Sundquist is a former Paralympian skier and soccer player (yes, both), but in recent years, he’s become famous for an entirely different reason: As the most creative Halloween costumer creator out there, consistently turning the loss of one of his legs into an opportunity to make his costumes completely unique. This year’s edition: An IHOP sign?!
For creativity, it doesn’t quite match the heights of the leg lamp from A Christmas Story, the flamingo or the foosball player (the last of which might be the greatest Halloween costume of all-time). But there is a certain poetry to the image of a pancake-shop sign hopping around, though:
The best part of the costume is imagining a hammered partier or two seeing the sign all lit up in the distance, running to it and being confused and saddened by the lack of an actual IHOP nearby.
