Kevin Ward’s parents have kept relatively quiet since their son’s tragic death at Canandaigua Motorsports Park Saturday night. Unlike Kevin’s Aunt Wendi, the two have stayed off social media, grieving in their own personal way.
On Tuesday afternoon an angry Kevin Ward, Sr. finally emerged to deliver some not so nice words about Tony Stewart.
“I think the reason he probably got out of that car is who put him into the wall. He was definitely put into the wall.”
Ok, that’s not the worst thing in the world. But wait for it.
“Apparently, Tony Stewart was the only one driving out there who didn’t see him.”
Tony Stewart has not been charged in Kevin Ward’s death and at this point, I’d be shocked if he was. Investigators have seen the video, they’ve talked to other drivers, they presumably have all communications between Stewart and his team the night of the incident. If that hasn’t convinced them to move ahead with criminal charges, then it’s probably not going to happen.
A civil suit on the other hand? Judging from Kevin Ward, Sr’s. anger, it’s only a matter of time.
