I don’t know where cheerleaders are supposed to stand during a timeout. I always thought they did their thing in the end zone, away from players. I was under the impression their job was to pump up the fans, get them off their seats.
As it turns out, I’ve been wrong this whole time. The cheerleaders’ job is to distract the other team, keep the attention of horny males who have no control over their libido.
Unless of course there’s another explanation for this.
Dammit, now I know why the Lions have been so bad all these years. No cheerleaders, no distinct home field advantage.
