Guardians of the Galaxy star and former male stripper Chris Pratt is in negotiations to star in Jurassic World, the fourth installment of Jurassic Park. Both THR and The Wrap are reporting the news, with The Wrap adding that Irrfan Khan (The Amazing Spider-Man, Life of Pi) is also being sought for a supporting role.
The deal’s not final. Chris Pratt has to make sure the Jurassic World schedule won’t conflict with any future seasons *fingers crossed* of Parks and Recreation. He’s negotiating to play the male lead role originally offered to Josh Brolin.
THR describes the character as “a rugged ex-military man, whose foil is the already-cast Bryce Dallas Howard, who plays a smart corporate scientist.” Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson are playing Bryce Dallas Howard’s nephews in the film opening June 12, 2015. I wonder if one of those precocious children will find a computer and say, “It’s a UNIX system! I know this!” If not, Chris Pratt can use his skills to save the day.
