As Josh noted yesterday, the American Hustle publicity tour officially kicked off last night. This is a very good thing, as we’ll have plenty of promotional appearances by Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams (and Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper, if you’re into that sort of thing) to keep us warm during the cold winter nights leading up to the fantastic-looking film’s release on December 20.
Jimmy Fallon got the festivities off to a fun start last night by surprising Amy Adams with footage (which she had never seen) from her on-screen debut: an old Grease-themed local bank commercial. Yes, it’s as bad as it sounds, but the mere presence of Adams makes it enjoyable.
