One of the fun things we like to do on the Internet is to take the cast of a show like Sons of Anarchy, Vikings, or Game of Thrones — where everyone is bearded, grimy, and heavily costumed — and show you what they look like in real life. Because we’ve seen them so frequently in a certain context, it’s bizarre to see, say, Hodor as DJ in real life. Similarly, for six seasons now, we have seen the Mad Men cast impeccably dressed, usually in suits and 60s dresses, and so we’re used to seeing them in that context that it’s weird seeing them in casual attire. It’s not as jarring as seeing the male cast of Game of Thrones without their beards, but it’s still very strange to see Roger Sterling, Bert Cooper, or Lane Pryce rocking t-shirts and jeans while they’re hanging out with their kids or buying groceries.
So basically, I went through the cast of Mad Men and located images of them at their most dressed down and casual. Here’s the cast of Mad Men looks like slumming it.
