There aren’t many things in this world I love more than crappy action movies that have multiple sequels with titles that extend beyond a colon, so this teaser sketch from the next episode of Key & Peele couldn’t be more up my alley if it used a GPS to find it. Titled Strike Force Eagle 3: The Reckoning, it includes the following:
- A renegade denim-wearing protagonist named “Jamison Teague” who (a) has a flowing, old school Lorenzo Lamas hairstyle and a leather jacket with a ridiculous amount of fringe; (b) is storming the secure compound of a cartel boss by himself to save the love of his life; (c) is played by “Cal Flavell,” who, according to the credits, also “produced and imagined” the film; and (d) has an affinity for neck-snapping.
- Well-dressed, uzi-carrying henchman with ponytails.
- Dozens of bikini-clad women lounging around a pool.
- A dramatic face-off with the aforementioned cartel boss.
There’s also a twist at the end that I won’t ruin for you. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be trying to wish the rest of this movie — as well as the first two films in the Strike Force Eagle catalog — into existence. If I stare at the Netflix catalog long enough, I bet I can make it happen
