Nick Offerman was on Conan last night to promote his “Full Bush” tour, and the conversation quickly turned to the origin of his traveling comedy show’s name. Beyond the obvious innuendo, it’s actually an extremely layered title that puts several concepts to work. But the most interesting implication is obviously the one about pubes.
Offerman explains in the clip above — as only he can — that he’s a resolute advocate of going through life with a “proud, bristling, shining pubic thicket,” because “Mother Nature’s billboard” was intended to be left unkempt. That makes him a staunch enemy of the abomination that is manscaping, and he’s got some harsh words for anyone fighting on the shorn side of that pube-centric battle.
