As we saw at the end of Parks and Recreation‘s previous season, the final season of the NBC series will skip three years INTO THE FUTURE. In 2017, we find out that Tom Haverford is a mogul; that Andy Dwyer has his own television show as his Johnny Karate persona, and that TV show may or may not be called Ninjas Attack; and that Gary/Larry/Jerry goes by Terry now (DAMMIT TERRY). There’s also a possibility that in the 2017 Pawnee universe, Ben and Leslie are under attack by drones.

Parks and Recreation returns on January 13th with two episodes a week, leading up to the series finale on February 24th.
