After the Ellen appearance last week that somehow broke Justin Bieber, forcing him to film a crocodile-teared apology to his fans basically saying sorry for all those times he acted like a complete sh*theel, Bieber made yet another appearance on Ellen airing today to clarify his apology. This kid!
So what was the deal, then? The Hollywood Reporter helpfully transcribes:
“It was the first time I was on television for a long time, and I just was worried about what people were thinking about me,” Bieber told Ellen DeGeneres. “Like I said last time, I did a lot of things over the past few years that I’m not proud of. But yeah I was just nervous to be in front of people again and talk in front of them.” He added that he posted the apologetic Facebook video because “I thought I just looked really extra nervous and I kind of just wanted to explain myself.”
After DeGeneres pointed out that celebrities in general are often nervous in the spotlight, Bieber agreed. “I am a human. … People often forget that. Even with their comments and stuff, they think it doesn’t get to me, but it gets to me. Things that people say bothers me, and I gotta be strong enough to just keep it pushing. That’s why I just wanted to make a video, to just let people know that I’m human.
Well damn. Now I feel bad for all of those times I said mean things about Justin Bieber. It almost makes me not want to point out that his dirtstache is back again. Really, I was like, *this close* to not even mentioning it.
