Recently, Jason Jones announced he was leaving The Daily Show to star in his own show, which he’s also producing and writing with his wife and fellow Daily Show correspondent, Samantha Bee. But we hadn’t heard anything regarding whether or not Bee would be staying on. Well, now we know.
Samantha Bee, per the press release I just got, is heading to TBS for her own show (on top of the one she's doing with Jason Jones).

Bee and Jones will executive produce this new current events-style series as well, in addition to their sitcom starring Jones.
The new topical comedy show is still in the early stages of development, the Turner cable channel said on Thursday. While not many details of the TBS production are available, the vehicle will allow Bee to apply “her smart and satirical point of view to current and relevant issues,” the network stated.
Bee will continue to appear on The Daily Show until this summer.
