Late last year, we reported that Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel are attending Austin Television Festival’s Gilmore Girls reunion because, if they weren’t there, it’d be like watching Community without Dan Harmon or Gilmore without Amy Sherman Palladino (oops).
Anyway, EW announced the full Stars Hollow lineup today, with creator Palladino joining her Girls, as well as Kelly Bishop (Emily), Jared Padalecki (Dean), Scott Patterson (Luke), Keiko Agena (Lane), Liza Weil (Paris), Liz Torres (Miss Patty), Sean Gunn (Kirk), Yanic Truesdale (Michel), John Cabrera (Brian), Empire‘s Danny Strong (Doyle), Todd Lowe (Zach), Jackson Douglas (Jackson), and Matt Czuchry (Logan). Noticeably absent is Sookie St. James herself, Melissa McCarthy, who’s busy earning $14 million for Ghostbusters, which is the same amount of money I’d pay to not have to hear Michel ever again.
There’s also good news for people who can’t make it to Austin for the fantastic fest.
“We’re thrilled to have EW present Gilmore Girls as Closing Night, as it will allow us to host it in a larger venue for more fans to enjoy, and those who can’t attend will still have the chance to watch it on EW.com,” the executive directors of ATX, Caitlin McFarland and Emily Gipson, said in a statement. Just block out the parts with Michel.
