It’s hard to remember in this post-9/11 world of ours, but the first non-rough cut episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force debuted in the pre-9/11 world of ours. Since Sept. 9, 2001, Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro’s animated series about talking food has become an Adult Swim institution. But all good things must come to an end (which is why McDonald’s fries are immortal; they’re not good things), and this summer is the beginning of Aqua Teen‘s final season.
No more Carl, no more Mooninites, no more partying. Let’s all go to the lobby one last time.
