Trevor Noah opened his version of The Daily Show by essentially keeping things the same, calming fears and worries that Jon Stewart’s exit would be hard on the show. Actually, before that, he gave a funny and touching opening that praised his predecessor and called his new gig as host a dream come true. It was a classy move and one that kicked off the new period of The Daily Show with laughs. It also helps that he was pretty damn funny, too. Given he still has the writers and all, but the delivery is there. And as he said, he’s continuing the war on “bullsh*t.”
