Michael J. Fox And Christopher Lloyd Went ‘Back To The Future’ On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

It turns out there’s one more fun sketch to watch before capping off Back The Future Day. In the middle of Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue, a familiar DeLorean appeared out of the blue. Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd then pop out to reprise their roles as Marty and Doc for the Jimmy Kimmel Live audience. Huey Lewis was also there, likely in shock at the sight of a functioning DeLorean. Doc and Marty were a bit dismayed about how 2015 has played out, what with the lack of flying cars and “hoverboards.” Still, the smartphone seemed to even it all out for them (even if it was only used to take selfies).

It’s a nice way to end the day and end the celebration of Back To The Future, at least until the remake shows up. This also marks the end of the Photoshopped image from the film that posits that another day is the day Marty McFly traveled to the future. Pour one out, folks.
