Fans of the classic Nickelodeon line-up from the 90s will remember the networks foray into sketch comedy, All That. It gave a lot of young talent a start, including Keenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Amanda Bynes, and Nick Cannon. We’ve seen a few mini-reunions and rumblings in the past, including the return of Good Burger on The Tonight Show.
Now, thanks to The Splat on Teen Nick, some of All That’s original cast are getting together to celebrate the show during a marathon of old episodes:
To celebrate the show’s 22nd anniversary, All That cast members Danny Tamberelli, Kel Mitchell, Josh Server, Lori Beth Denberg, and Kenan Thompson have reunited to film new, original segments together. The one-to-three minute sketches will air during an All That marathon this April. The group will also share backstage secrets and stories.
22 years makes my inner child finally breathe its final breath, leaving the carrion flesh wide open for the scavenging buzzards of real life. That or it just makes you realize how long Kenan Thompson has been holding it down on television. There was All That, his own sitcom, and then a solid run on SNL. Pretty good.
This only leaves a few Nickelodeon shows left to bring back for nostalgic value. There’s Alex Mack, Are You Afraid of The Dark?, and Roundhouse just crying out for some sort of awkward reboot. Dust off that motorized recliner and get to work, folks.
