The Andy Dwyer Lines We’ll Always Think Of When We See Chris Pratt

Tonight, we say goodbye to one of the greatest sitcoms in television history, Parks and Recreation. Over the course of seven seasons, we’ve watched each character develop into something they never could’ve imagined. Like Tom, who went from the failed Entertainment 720 to now owning the successful Tom’s Bistro. Ben Wyatt went from “Requiem for a Tuesday” to becoming a potential member of the House of Representatives. Even Andy went from living in a pit to hosting a hit TV show as Johnny Karate.

The same goes for Christ Pratt outside of Pawnee. We all watched over the past year as he became a full-blown movie star with Guardians of the Galaxy, but he’ll always be lovable doofus Andy Dwyer to us Parks fans. Let’s take a look at some of Andy’s all-time best lines heading into the series finale.

“I didn’t actually sell my last car. I just forgot where I parked it.”

“Windows are the eyes to the house.”

“The show must go wrong.”

“This case just remained interesting.”

“Leslie, I typed your symptoms into the thing up here, and it says you could have network connectivity problems.”

“I’m fine. It’s just that life is pointless, and nothing matters, and I’m always tired.”

“When they say two percent milk, I don’t know what the other 98 percent is.”

“Just remember, every time you look up at the moon, I, too, will be looking at the moon. Not the same moon, obviously. That’s impossible.”

“Gases fill the volume of whatever container they’re in. School.”

“I don’t know who Al Gore is, and now I’m afraid to ask.”

“I’m gonna get up there, and everybody’s gonna see my weiner. I mean, you’ve seen it. You know how dumb it looks.”

“When I get bummed out, I take my shirt off because the bad feelings make me feel sweaty.”

“I’m not crying, okay? I’m just allergic to jerks!”

“It’s like I’m wiping a marker or something.”

“You’re like an angel with no wings.”

“What’s 5,000 times better than ‘A Candle in the Wind?’ This song is called ‘5,000 Candles in the Wind.'”
