After Constantine was canceled by NBC, fans of the series — based on the Hellblazer comics — took to the internet to voice their support for the show. Even Arrow star Steve Amell showed his continued support with a unique Twitter proposition:
#SaveConstantine — Hey TV Networks / Netflix and the like… If you pick up the show, I'll guest star.
— Stephen Amell (@StephenAmell) May 9, 2015
According to ComicBook.com, Amell recently appeared at Wizard World Philadelphia and discussed his continued interest in a cross-over with the recently canceled show:
“The reason that I was going to guest star on Constantine, at least the idea that we were throwing around was he’s an expert when it comes to the Lazarus Pit, which is now something that is a part of and will continue to be a part of Arrow.”
Constantine was trending on Twitter on Friday and most of Saturday. When series star Matt Ryan saw Amell’s post, he seemed quite fond of the idea:
@amellywood man, it would be a real pleasure to explore these Guys dynamic #Constantine #SaveConstantine

After NBC announced their cancellation plans for the series, Ryan took to Twitter and focused his attention on the CW. After all, they’ve achieved the most success with bringing DC properties to the small-screen:
So who's gonna bring us in from the cold? @CW_network ? @DCComics under one roof? #Constantine #SaveConstantine

Good question. At least William Shatner’s got his back:
So NBC canceled #Constantine maybe we can all ask the @CW_network to have a look?

What do you think, internet? Should Constantine live to see a second season on another network? And would the show even fit on the CW? Inquiring minds want to know!
