The first teaser for the next go-around of Ash vs Evil Dead has arrived and it boasts enough blood to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool. Groovy.
Not that you were expecting the Starz offering to morph into a legal drama in season two, but it’s nice to see to Ash Williams and company wasting deadites like the world depends on it. Y’know, because it kind of does. In this freshly unveiled 30-second clip, there isn’t too much revealed about season two (hello, Jacksonville!), although one former nemesis appears to be aligned with Ash, Pablo, and Kelly in some capacity. There’s also the promise of projectile vomiting, mechanical bulls and lots of tasteful chainsaw mutilation. Basically all the things that could have spiced up season two of Caroline in the City.
“No guts, no glory,” proclaims the NSFW teaser while providing a smörgåsbord of splatstick thrills and a hand puppet that bares an uncanny resemblance to Bruce Campbell‘s lovable slaughter-skilled narcissist. We have this early glimpse of season two nestled at the top of the post, so grab your poncho and enjoy your ticket to the horror-comedy splash zone. The new batch of Ash vs Evil Dead episodes are set to arrive this October.
