I’m really shocked this hasn’t happened sooner, but I suppose Mike’s demise has inspired some Breaking Bad fan nostalgia for him: someone took the “Be Like Mike” jingle from those old Michael Jordan/Nike commercials and laid it over cuts of Mike Ehrmantraut doing his Mike Ehrmantraut thing on Breaking Bad. It’s a lovely tribute to everyone’s favorite cold-blooded killer/fixer/grandpa.
Now, speaking of Breaking Bad, here’s a quick programming note: even though Monday is a holiday, we are planning on posting a Breaking Bad discussion post and the Power Rankings post Monday afternoon as usual, as we’re sure that some of you will be dying to discuss the season finale. So there.
