Bill Burr And Conan Talk Caitlyn Jenner And Reactions Are Negative

Bill Burr managed to garner a little more outrage during another visit to Conan, ditching the talk about women and football for some awkward chat about Caitlyn Jenner. Burr jumps into the discussion on Jenner by noting how he wished they got a chance to “say goodbye” before the transition. He then goes into the trouble with pronouns regarding trans individuals, the trouble with any reaction other than pure acceptance and a few jokes at Jenner’s and the Kardashian’s expense.

There was some ~~awkward~~ regular, old-fashioned laughter throughout the crowd and Conan laughed along, but did seem uncomfortable with where Burr might’ve gone had the segment continued. All of that pales in comparison to the reaction that Burr and O’Brien are beginning to receive online — something the folks at the show had to know given the early release of the clip.
